Muntons Wheat Beer reviewed by Don

posted on February 12, 2009 in Beer Recipe Reviews

This was my introduction into
homebrewing and certainly won’t be my
last. I always drank Wheat Beers -
Erdinger, Franziskaner, Schofferhoffer,
Paulaner & Weihanstephaner and was
absolutely shocked to find my own nicer
than any!!! I was expecting the worst as
it was my first ever homebrew and always
felt that homebrews can’t surely be as
good as the shop/pub varieties. Made
according to instructions but used
Muntons Light Spray Malt 500g instead of
sugar for primary and left for 3 weeks
in primary. Bottled and after 14 days -
wonderful beer. Only way to describe is
sweet wonderful taste with a great head.
And at ?0.61 per 500ml bottle is sure
cheaper than ?2.50-?3.00 at my local
off-licence. – Rating:5/5
