Black Rock Whispering Wheat reviewed by nafe

Going for a Hoegaarden clone. Added 1kg
LDME, 12g Halertau hops, 1 full grated
orange rind and 12g coriander seeds.
Boiled for 30 mins in 5L water, straight
into fermenter/no straining/chunky style
made up to 23L with filtered tap water
for 2 weeks. 180g dextrose bulk
optimus-prime for mad bubbles.
Absolutely rude to taste after 2 weeks
in the bottle, smelt like off yeast. 4
weeks, tasting/smelling better, but
still no winner. 1st HB attempt, will
try again, but not with this kit. Colour
too dark for Hoegaarden, not even
close.
